Imperva a Thales Company is seeking an experienced Area Vice President to lead a newly formed GTM team of Security Sales Specialists, setting the strategy, operating model, and execution of Imperva’s industry-leading Cybersecurity solutions. This position reports directly to the Global VP, WW Specialization Sales and through planning, organization, validation, and execution, this position will be responsible for incubating and evangelizing the GTM strategy of Solutions Specialists who will be partnering with our Field Sales team to deliver Imperva’s line of solutions.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Build, coach and lead a team of Cybersecurity Sales Specialists that will drive exponential growth in each of Imperva’s specialized product suites including: DDoS, AppSec, or DataSec
  • Inspire a team to serve as product specialized evangelists who hunt for greenfield opportunities in assigned accounts to commit to partnerships with Imperva in their respective specialized product suite.
  • Encourage collecting and channeling feedback from internal and external customers to the respective orgs within Imperva to drive continuous improvement
  • Build relationships and foster a culture of teaming including regular dialogue and partnership with key GTM partners including: Field Sales team, Channel Account Managers, and Sales Engineers to support the identification of opportunities in key accounts 
  • Provide support and guidance to team as they develop sales strategies around deal structure, support executive relationships and support team in building out territory mapping and business planning to drive appropriate strategies for the account base resulting in qualified opportunities
  • Drive and assist with the development and maintenance of strong relationships with key CXO client decision-makers, connect dots to key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Provide oversight and direction to provide seamless account management with the Field Sales Team and Sales Engineers on qualified opportunities. 
  • Serving as a point of escalation for customer issues to ensure timely resolution, as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Dynamic and driven sales leader with 7-10+ years of high-level direct selling experience, ideally within Security Technology–Web Application, Database Security
  • Demonstrated success in achievement or over-achievement of assigned revenue quota---quarterly and annually.
  • Perseverant and curious, with a desire and ability to remove friction in order to achieve a common goal
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about technology, innovation and cybersecurity
  • Adept at ”knowing the audience” and applying to stakeholders in a way that creates alignment and progress and serves to contribute to our product design and Go To Market processes
  • Experience with SFDC
  • Highly developed and effective communication skills and executive presence
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is US$160,000 – $210,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, other qualifications, and location.
