In Q3 2017, amidst a cryptocurrency price spike, bitcoin came in as one of the top-10 most attacked industries. There was also a notable increase in network layer attack persistence, with nearly a third of targets being hit ten or more time. Lastly, we saw high packet rate attacks grow more common this quarter, as an alarming number of assaults escalated over 100 Mpps.
