Imperva, the leader in Data Security, is looking to hire an Team Manager, based at our technically advanced R&D Center located in Tel Aviv. 

Description

As the Team Manager, you will play a key role in creating a new management component which will take our product to the next stage in terms of user experience as well as product architecture.  The team in question will be working on a key component which is a critical part of the strategy of the company and is expected to provide a high quality delivery, on time based on cutting edge technologies, on prem and in the cloud, that will allow the company to grow and the customers to have a unified and modern experience.

As part of this role you will be required to manage a large team of developers and testers, across several geographies, as well as collaborate vastly with other teams across the globe

 
Additional Responsibilities:

• Taking a major role in driving the next generation architecture of the product
• Serving as a leading technical advisor and mentor to the team and also to other developers 
• Managing a complex work plan to meet delivery points for several internal customers (development teams)
• Leading the development and constant improvement of our processes and ways of work

Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience as a dev manager - a must
• 5 years’ experience in Java development - a must
• Strong technical skills, deep understanding in architecture - a must
• Experience in frontend development, especially react – an advantage
• Experience in cloud development – an advantage
• Experience in web programming – an advantage
• Experience with micro services, Dockers, Big data - an advantage
