Channel Marketing Specialist: DACH and Eastern Europe

This individual will partner with a cross-functional marketing and sales team to support Imperva’s channel program, driving partner-sourced pipeline through joint go-to-market activities with selected focus partners and Distributors in the DACH and Eastern Europe region. Reporting to the EMEA, Sr. Channel Marketing Manager, he/she will be a key contributor to the planning, implementation and analysis of key marketing programs, assisting in the management of Market Development Funds (MDF), program execution and performance tracking, and partner communications.  


Key objectives include developing and executing relevant regional/local marketing activities to create awareness of Imperva solutions, drive demand generation, and increase sales qualified leads against agreed metrics.


Responsibilities include:


  • Assists in developing and executing marketing plans for selected partners, including monitoring of MDF, creating campaigns and programs that are on message and consistent with the overarching message and brand strategy. Evaluates overall effectiveness of programs and identifies optimizations for future implementation. 

  • Deliver marketing campaign programming, creative brief and communications on time and with excellence. 

  • Collaborate to deliver cohesive and coordinated partner communications, strategies and tactics. 

  • Create and/or coordinate development of local content needed for cross-channel campaigns


Skills And Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred
  • Clearly defined marketing background
  • Comfort level with working independently and cooperatively 
  • Experience delivering effective and innovative partner marketing strategies across various medias
  • Strong and effective project management and ability to lead and direct outside resources
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (proven ability to manage up and across a matrixed org) 
  • Proven budget development and management experience a plus
  • Clearly demonstrated ability to organize and deliver time sensitive projects 
  • Highly proficient computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Ability to think through options and make recommendations
  • Self-motivated • Detail-oriented
