Training
In addition to our Technical Support and Professional Services teams, Imperva also offers customers the opportunity to receive first-hand product and implementation training from Imperva professionals. The information imparted during these educational training sessions enables customers to successfully deploy and maintain the entire family of Imperva data security products and solutions.
The core component of the Imperva SecureSphere training program is a three-day, practical course featuring expert instruction and hands-on lab experience in a simulated IT environment. Participants will initially install, configure, and establish SecureSphere protection for both Web and database servers. Participants will also generate traffic for these servers, and perform attacks against them, so as to observe how SecureSphere monitors these resources for security vulnerabilities and protects them. Finally, participants will learn how to configure a database audit, manage alerts, and fine-tune SecureSphere in order to protect a typical business application environment.
While all of Imperva's data security training sessions are specifically tailored to meet the custom objectives of each class, the following core data security training topics are always available:
- Installation and Configuration
- Gateway Configuration
- SecureSphere Initial Configuration and Server Groups
- Dynamic Profiling
- Web Server Groups Protection
- Database Server Groups Protection
- Audit Rules Configuration and Archiving
- SecureSphere Monitoring
Training courses are taught at Imperva's global classrooms or on-site at customer facilities. All training courses are taught by product experts who are able to field complex technical questions and describe in detail the features and settings of the SecureSphere appliances.
