GoDaddy.comGoDaddy.com, the world's largest domain name registrar, has deployed the SecureSphere Web Application Firewall (WAF), as part of its overall security measures, to protect its website and all of its Quick Shopping Cart customers. In addition, SecureSphere enabled Go Daddy to meet the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) June 30th deadline for complying with requirement 6.6, which mandates that a WAF be deployed or code review be performed to secure web applications that process payment card data. "Our Quick Shopping Cart product generated more than 55 million dollars for our customers last year alone. There's no sign of slowing - in fact, online spending is predicted to grow by more than 17% in the next year according to Forrester Research.
