In 2006, Shlomo Kramer was selected by Network World magazine as one of 20 luminaries who changed the network industry.

Prior to founding Imperva, Shlomo co-founded Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. in 1993. At Check Point, he served in various executive roles through 1998 and as a member of the board of directors through 2003. While at Check Point, Shlomo played a key role in defining and creating several category-defining products and solutions, including FireWall-1, VPN-1, FloodGate-1, Check Point's OPSEC alliance, and Check Point's security appliance program.

He has participated as an early investor and board member in a number of security and enterprise software companies including Palo Alto Networks, Serendipity Technologies, and Trusteer. Shlomo received a Masters degree in Computer Science from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.

Mickey Boodaei co-founder and CEO of Trusteer, he was previously the vice president of product management and technical services for Imperva. Prior to founding Imperva, Mickey was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Edvice, an application and database security consulting group, from 2000 to 2002.

Edvice provided application and database security services to major banks and financial institutions, including penetration testing, security design and strategy and development and implementation of security features for Web-based applications.

He also served for six years as a security research engineer in the Israel Defense forces. There he worked on security design and penetration testing of complex applications, basic research on application and database security, and evaluation, design and deployment of security solutions. He earned a B.Sc. degree from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Ben-Gurion University.

Asheem Chandna joined Greylock in 2003. His areas of interest include enterprise infrastructure, security, networking and mobile. Asheem currently serves on the board of directors at Imperva, CipherTrust, Palo Alto Networks, PortAuthority Technologies, Securent and Sourcefire. He is responsible for Greylock's investment in Xsigo Systems and was previously on the board at NetBoost (acquired by Intel).

Prior to joining Greylock, Asheem spent over fifteen years in industry operating roles helping create, grow and lead multiple technology businesses and product lines to market leadership positions. Most recently, Asheem was vice-president of business development and product management with Check Point Software Technologies. Prior to Check Point, Asheem was vice-president of marketing with CoroNet Systems (a venture-backed startup acquired by Compuware), where he helped create and define a new product category for application-aware network monitoring. Previously, Asheem held strategic marketing and product line positions with SynOptics/Bay Networks and AT&T Bell Laboratories.

Asheem is a Charter Member of TiE Silicon Valley. He is also on the Advisory Board for the RSA Conference and was a Judge for the 2005 Wall Street Journal Global Technology Innovation Awards. Born and raised in India, Asheem holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Theresia Gouw Ranzetta focuses on software investments with particular interest in security, systems software and enterprise applications. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Accel-KKR, Aceva Technologies, Andale, CRS Retail, ForeScout, and Imperva.

Theresia has worked in the computer and communications industries since the late-1980's as an entrepreneur, consultant and venture investor. Prior to joining Accel Partners, she was a founding executive at a venture-backed company which developed products to enable encryption and payment for the software industry. Theresia was a key member of the senior management team and was instrumental in growing the company from $0 to $15M in revenue. Before that, Theresia worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company. While at Bain, she worked with computer and communications equipment companies to develop their technology, marketing and financial strategies.

Theresia holds an Sc.B. in Engineering from Brown University, magna cum laude and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Steve Krausz who joined USVP in 1985, has a background deeply rooted in information technology. Steve's eight years of operating experience with NASA Ames, BTI Computers, Direct Inc. and Daisy Systems have served him well as an advisor to many leading network vendors, customers, investors, and start-ups.

Steve is a frequent panelist and moderator at many industry and engineering events and forums. At USVP, Steve has focused on communications, Internet Infrastructure, networking and enterprise software. He has led the Firm's investments in, Occam Networks, Accelerated Networks, Verity, Rasna, Xylan, Applied Digital Access, Elantec and Micro Linear, all of which became public companies.

Steve was a Board Observer with many successful companies such as Checkpoint Software, Harmonic, and Stratacom. He served on the Boards of Directors of EPIC Design Technologies and Photon Dynamics. Currently he is on a number of private USVP investments including, Agility Communications, Xponent, Megapath, Sierra Monolithics, Object Reservoir, Stratalight, Ceyba Systems, Gluon Networks, Performance Retail, Kasenna, Notiva, Imperva, Synfora and Pathfire.

He is a Board of Director Observer with Electric Cloud, New Focus, Checkpoint, and Stratacom. Steve is also on the Board as Treasurer at the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Steve holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Stanford Business School, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar

Ray Rothrock joined Venrock in 1988 and after nearly 20 years and over 40 investments, his passion for building companies continues. His venture capital career has its roots at Yankee Atomic Electric as a nuclear engineer, at Sun Microsystems and with two failed startups. An engineer at heart with a keen insight into product markets, Ray loves to tinker with technology. In addition to venture capital, he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Texas A&M Foundation, where he chairs the investment committee. Ray also serves on the Visiting Committee of the MIT Nuclear Science and Engineering Department.

Ray currently serves on the board of Check Point Software and the boards of current investments: a la Mobile, Inc., Imaginova Corp., Imperva, Inc., Jadoo Power Systems, PGP Corporation, RedSeal Systems, Transonic Combustion, Inc., Vernier Networks, and Vontu, Inc.
